  FRIENDS OF CHORF

Here are some  of CHORF's friends who have continued to provide, help and support since CHORF was set up.

LAUREL & HARDY

Merseyside's Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Societies and Laurel & Hardy look-a-likes Gary Slade and Rob Graham have supported a number of CHORF events.  Their humour and enthusiasm is always welcomed and we hope to long associate ourselves with them.  CHORF is extremely grateful for their continued support.

They have helped us raise awareness and attended the Leasowe Castle Hotel in October for our "Talk of the Coast Show". They organised a further three events  which took place in October and November 2006, namely "The Midnight Patrol 2 Tent", "Any Old Port Tent" and a "Laurel and Hardy Film Night" in Prescot, Liverpool which raised a sum of £530.00.

 Gary Slade tells us,

"Ollie and I helped to get lots of auction prizes and raffle prizes from football, cricket and rugby clubs and horse racing events etc. Ollie and I were also involved with the CHORF Charity at a venue on the Wirral and in total on the day we helped raise over £5,500. So the total we helped raise was over £6,000."

                         JAN WILKIE

As well as being a "Friend of CHORF", Jan is a friend of the family. She has dedicated time, energy and efforts into many of our CHORF events over the past couple of years, despite the fact that she has a family and runs her own business.
